River Chief

My first Pinto Arabian ..... a Stallion

You are looking at my very first "Pinto" horse I've ever owned, and what a stallion he was!!

River Chief was an only son in the United States, as his very famous dam,

"My Mercedes" was one of '5' of the very first Pinto horses EVER sold and exported out of the Unites States! Back then in 1989, that was a huge leap for the Pinto industry!! He had produced literally four types of Pinto color patterns, including overo, all from solid colored mares! I've never seen anything like that in my life since then, as he sired some beautiful Pintos! I had bred and sold a gorgeous Pinto stallion son of his, that has done extremely well...in fact he had foals headed to the Pinto World Show this last year. My foundation line is still alive and doing very well. I was on a 'fairy tale" ride of my life, owning him and raising his stunning foals!

River Chief was an instant success across the globe and I will always remember ALL the great memories of him and his foals, and carry them in my heart ..... forever.

I've have also had a great attraction for the "look" and animation of the BLACK Arabians. Due to this, I've decided to incorporate these stunning Arabians into my breeding program as well. I had found a way to "mix" the best of both worlds together, and not only targeting Black and White Paint horses, but also produce "Black and White" Pinto Arabian horses as well. In doing so, my Black Arabian mares had to have the correct DNA's. To ensure that I was producing 'Black and White" Pinto Arabians, my mares not only had to be BLACK, but they also had to carry the "homozygous black" gene! That was the key! Plus, I have had the great fortune and blessing, to be able to add to my breeding program, the ULTIMATE, the most rare of rare of all black Arabians in the world .....the "Blue Black" Arabian, as there are very few of them! For this reason, I will continue to breed them for thier beautiful "rare BLACK color", in order to preserve this unique Black Arabian. I currently have '2' Black, Straight Egyptian, "Blue Black" Arabian mares due to foal very, very soon this year in 2012!

Last but not least, I set out in search for my perfect stallion, as this took a couple years. I was looking for, MOST importantly, a stallion with a fantastic disposition! I never cut corners here!!! He had to be BIG and tall, have straight correct conformation with a nice hip and neck,

all topped off with a gorgeous head. His DNA would have to be in place, so that he will produce Paint Color100% of the time........ thus, having the "Homozygous Tobiano" gene.

For a final note, he had to be extremely pretty, pretty, pretty, and be BLACK & WHITE.

I finally found him. My stallion is "Mr Bo Button"
